Incentive Conditions

Areas of Intervention

The aim of this call is to select projects focused on SME qualification actions in intangible areas in order to promote the competitiveness of SMEs and their responsiveness in the global market. In this sense, projects to strengthen the organizational and management skills of SMEs are eligible for support, including investment in the development of strategic abilities and competitive management, modern networks for distribution and placement of goods and services and the use of IT.

Financing Rate

The support has the character of a non-refundable grant (non-refundable subsidies) and corresponds to 45% of the eligible expenses, with the exception of the financial support to be granted by the Lisbon Regional OP, which are calculated by applying a maximum rate of 40% to the eligible expenses.

Elegible Entities

Beneficiaries of the support foreseen in this call are SME companies of any nature and under any legal form. Support is granted to projects promoted by newly established companies and SMEs that intend to increase their skills and competitiveness.

Elegible Cost

Machinery and equipment in general;
Management software/ ERP/ CRM/ design/production;
Purchase of computers;
Digital commerce and related applications (also includes e-commerce, websites, virtual advertisement catalogues on google);
Registration and brand creation, patents, designs and models;
Designing new collections;
Consulting / studies / marketing / advisory services;
Laboratory equipment;
Product certification;
Quality certification ISO 9001;
Certification ISO 14001; 50001, among others;
Other management systems;
Expenses with the intervention of the Certified Accountant;
Hiring support for up to two university graduates (for two years) – Salary costs related to the hiring of highly qualified human resources (qualification level equal to or higher than 6). Under the terms of the provisions of no. 6 of article 51 of the RECI, for this Call for Applications a ceiling of 1,850 euros is established for the basic monthly salary in relation to the costs of hiring technical staff.
